This notice explains what personal data aiagents.org.uk collects, why, and your rights under UK data protection law. In short: the site uses no advertising cookies, runs Google Analytics only if you say yes, does not sell data, and only collects what you choose to send through the contact form or the weekly email signup.

Who is responsible for your data
aiagents.org.uk is run by Annie, who is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach her through the contact page.
What is collected and why
- Contact form. If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent by email so that Annie can reply. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering your enquiry. Messages are not stored in the website's database, are not added to any mailing list, and are deleted from email within 12 months unless an ongoing conversation needs them.
- Server logs. Like every website, the host records technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. The lawful basis is legitimate interests. Logs are kept for a short period set by the host.
- Visitor statistics. The site counts visits with Independent Analytics, which runs on this site's own server and uses no cookies. It uses your IP address to estimate your country and city, then turns your IP address and browser details into a one-way code so that repeat visits can be counted without identifying you. Nothing is sent to Google or any other third party. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: understanding which guides are useful.
- Cookies. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If you click Allow analytics, Google Analytics sets two cookies (_ga and _ga_MK7R5DLW49) to count visits; if you do not, none are set. WordPress sets strictly necessary cookies only for people who log in to manage the site.
Google Analytics, only if you say yes. On your first visit, a small box asks whether the site can count your visit with Google Analytics. Nothing is loaded from Google unless you click Allow analytics, and nothing is loaded if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. If you allow it, Google Analytics records the pages you view, your approximate location (country and city), your device and browser type and how you found the site, so Annie can see which guides are useful. Advertising features, ads personalisation and Google signals are switched off, and Google is not allowed to use the data for its own purposes. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. The lawful basis is your consent, and the data is kept for 14 months. You can change your choice at any time:
The weekly chart email
If you sign up for the weekly agent skills chart, the site stores your email address, the date you signed up, the page you signed up on and a record of your consent. It also keeps a one-way code made from your IP address to stop spam sign-ups; it can't be turned back into your IP address. All of this sits in the site's own database on Hostinger.
The lawful basis is your consent. Your address is used only to send the chart, and it is never sold or shared for marketing.
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, your address is marked as unsubscribed so you are not emailed again. To have it deleted completely, use the contact page.
The emails will be sent by a mailing service acting on the site's behalf. It will be named here before the first email goes out.
Who your data is shared with
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes server data on the site's behalf.
- Email. Contact form messages are delivered by email to Annie's mailbox.
- Google. Only if you allow analytics: Google Analytics processes your visit data on the site's behalf under Google's data processing terms. Sharing with Google for its own purposes is switched off.
- Nobody else. Personal data is never sold or shared for marketing. Fonts and images are served from the site's own server, so loading a page does not send your details to Google or other font services.
International transfers
Where a service provider processes data outside the UK, it does so under safeguards recognised by UK law, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability where that applies. To use any of these rights, use the contact page. You will get a reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
