Google Cloud agent marketplace review: Agent Marketplace and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery (2026)

Google Cloud agent marketplace page, October 2026

Google's agent marketplace is the AI agent section of Google Cloud Marketplace, linked to the Agent Gallery inside Gemini Enterprise. It is built for larger businesses that use Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise. Almost every Gemini-ready agent is sold by private offer, so you cannot see the price, and partner agents need a Standard or Plus seat, from $30 (about £23) a month at launch. Google keeps renaming the products, too. For UK small businesses it is a hard place to start. I rate it 3 out of 5.

Key facts

  • What it is: The AI agent category of Google Cloud Marketplace, now called Agent Marketplace, plus the Agent Gallery inside Gemini Enterprise, where admins make bought agents available to staff.
  • Made by: Google Cloud, part of Google LLC, whose parent company is Alphabet Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG and GOOGL).
  • Launched: The AI Agent Marketplace opened on 9 April 2025 at Google Cloud Next. Google relaunched it as Agent Marketplace inside Gemini Enterprise at Next '26 in April 2026.

  • Best for: Larger businesses on Google Cloud that already pay for Gemini Enterprise Standard or Plus.
  • Available in the UK: Yes. Listings calculate prices in US dollars unless you change your billing currency. Gemini Enterprise offers a UK data region on request.
  • Seller commission: 3% on standard offers. Private offers cost 1.5-3% depending on size, and renewals 1.5%.
  • Our rating: ★★★☆☆ 3/5

What is the Google Cloud agent marketplace?

It has two parts. Agent Marketplace is the AI agent section of Google Cloud Marketplace, where a business finds and buys agents made by Google partners. The Agent Gallery sits inside Gemini Enterprise, Google's AI assistant for work. Once an agent is bought and registered, staff find it in the Agent Gallery and request access.

Agents that work with Gemini Enterprise use the open Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol. Each partner publishes an Agent Card, a small file that describes what the agent can do and how to connect to it. Google reviews each agent's functionality, security and pricing model before it goes live.

Google has renamed nearly everything around the marketplace in the last 18 months:

  • December 2024: Google Agentspace enters early access. It became generally available on 31 July 2025.
  • 9 April 2025: The AI Agent Marketplace opens inside Google Cloud Marketplace at Google Cloud Next.
  • 9 October 2025: Agentspace is relaunched as Gemini Enterprise. Agentspace subscriptions could not be bought after 31 December 2025, and Google's old Agentspace web addresses now redirect to Gemini Enterprise.
  • April 2026: At Next '26, Vertex AI becomes the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and Google launches the new Agent Marketplace with the Agent Gallery of Gemini Enterprise.
  • July and September 2026: NotebookLM Enterprise becomes Gemini Notebook Enterprise, and Agent Designer becomes Workflow Builder.
  • October 2026: Google's Gemini Enterprise web page is now titled "Gemini for Business", and its menus call the Agent Platform the "Gemini platform".

Who owns the Google Cloud agent marketplace?

  • The marketplace is run by Google Cloud, part of Google LLC. Google's parent company is Alphabet Inc.
  • Thomas Kurian is CEO of Google Cloud.
  • Sundar Pichai is CEO of Google and Alphabet.
  • Headquarters: Mountain View, California.
  • Alphabet is listed on Nasdaq under the tickers GOOG and GOOGL.
  • The AI Agent Marketplace launched on 9 April 2025. Gemini Enterprise launched on 9 October 2025.

The catalogue is big, but the part that works with Gemini Enterprise is much smaller.

  • 1,926 listings in Google Cloud Marketplace's AI Agent category on 16 October 2026.
  • 123 of those are validated as compatible with Gemini Enterprise (checked 16 October 2026).
  • Agent Marketplace relaunched with more than 70 partner-built agents in April 2026.
  • Sundar Pichai said in July 2026 that nearly 90% of the Fortune 100 use Gemini Enterprise.
  • Google Cloud made $24.8 billion (about £18.6 billion) in revenue in the second quarter of 2026, up 82% on a year earlier.

How much does the Google Cloud agent marketplace cost?

Browsing is free. To use partner agents you need a Gemini Enterprise Standard or Plus seat, and then whatever the partner charges.

Google no longer shows edition prices on its Gemini Enterprise pages. The figures above are the October 2025 launch prices reported by TechRadar. I found no VAT statement on the pages I checked.

Sellers pay Google 3% on standard offers, 1.5-3% on private offers and 1.5% on renewals.

Hidden costs

  • The right Gemini edition. Google says partner agents only work with Gemini Enterprise Standard or Plus. The cheaper Business edition does not include them.
  • Private offer pricing. Almost every Gemini-ready agent I checked is sold only by private offer, so you must contact the vendor for a price.
  • The partner's own product. Many agents front a product you must already pay for. The Adobe Marketing Agent works with Adobe Experience Platform and is in private beta.
  • Early cancellation. Under Google's marketplace terms, if you stop a subscription early you generally still owe fees for the rest of the term, and refunds need the vendor's written agreement.
  • Currency. Listings calculate prices in US dollars unless you change your billing setup, so your bill may depend on exchange rates.

Selling your agent on the Google Cloud agent marketplace

  • Who can list: Google Cloud partners with a Marketplace producer account. You choose the "AI Agent as a Service" product type in the Producer Portal and upload your A2A Agent Card.
  • Approval: Google reviews each agent's functionality, security and pricing model. Agents are validated for A2A and Gemini Enterprise, and the best can earn a "Google Cloud Ready - Gemini Enterprise" designation.
  • Pricing models: Subscriptions, usage-based pricing, private offers and outcome-based pricing, such as a fee per support ticket resolved.
  • Commission: 3% on standard offers. New private offers cost 3% under $1 million (about £752,000), 2% up to $10 million and 1.5% above that. Renewals and migrations cost 1.5%, and bring-your-own-licence offers 0%. Listing is free.
  • Getting paid: Google handles billing for hosted agents and notifies partners of new orders automatically.

What other people rate it

  • I found no G2, Capterra or Trustpilot rating for the agent marketplace itself.
  • G2 rates Gemini Enterprise 4.6/5 from 27 reviews (checked 16 October 2026).
  • Trustpilot rates Google Cloud 1.4/5 from 42 reviews (checked 16 October 2026).
  • Few agent listings carry reviews. The Teradata Data Analyst AI Agent shows 3.9 from 24 reviews supplied by PeerSpot (checked 16 October 2026).

What's good

  • Google reviews each agent's functionality, security and pricing before it is published.
  • Buying and access are split between roles: a billing admin buys, another admin registers the agent, and staff request access in the Agent Gallery.
  • Businesses can use a Private Marketplace and access controls to limit which third-party agents can be bought.
  • Agents use the open A2A standard rather than a Google-only format.
  • Gemini Enterprise offers a UK data region for businesses that need it.

What's not so good

  • Almost every Gemini-ready agent I checked is private offer only, so prices are hidden.
  • Partner agents are not available on the Business edition aimed at small teams.
  • Constant renaming makes it hard to follow what you are buying.
  • The wider AI Agent category includes filler, such as an Astrology Agent and a Weather Agent.
  • The UK data region needs approval from Google's account team and leaves out some features.

Who is it for?

Use it if your business already runs on Google Cloud, pays for Gemini Enterprise Standard or Plus, and has an admin who can handle billing roles and agent registration.

Skip it if you are a small business on Google Workspace with the Business edition, or if you want to see prices before talking to a salesperson.

Using it in the UK

  • The marketplace works from the UK through the Google Cloud console. You need a Google Cloud billing account to buy.
  • Listings calculate prices in US dollars unless you change the currency in your billing setup. The pages I checked did not say how VAT is handled.
  • Gemini Enterprise can keep data in a UK region (europe-west2), but only if Google's account team adds you to an allowlist. Some features, including web grounding and Claude models, are not available there.
  • When you buy a partner agent that needs your data, Google shares it with the vendor. The vendor is not a Google subprocessor, and its own terms then apply.

Interesting facts about the Google Cloud agent marketplace

  • Google's own marketplace now shows a banner saying Vertex AI is now Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.
  • The AI Agent category lists an Astrology Agent alongside enterprise tools for supply chains and security.
  • Google lets partners charge by results, such as per report generated or per support ticket resolved.
  • Each agent's Agent Card is a JSON file that Google Cloud Marketplace reads automatically to fill in the listing.

Google vets its Gemini-ready agents carefully, but hidden prices, edition limits and constant renaming make this a marketplace for larger Google Cloud customers rather than UK small businesses.
