Yes: the main AI agent marketplaces in 2026 are Microsoft's Agent Store, Salesforce AgentExchange, Google Cloud's Agent Marketplace, AWS Marketplace, OpenAI's ChatGPT Plugin Directory and Anthropic's new Claude Marketplace. For most UK small businesses already on Microsoft 365, Microsoft's Agent Store is the best place to start. Its agents work inside Copilot and Teams, and Microsoft quotes prices in pounds. Most stores are free to browse: you pay for the software underneath, such as a Copilot or Salesforce licence, or for the agent itself. If you'd rather build your own agents, n8n's template library is the best place to start. It has 13,490 free and paid templates, and you can run n8n yourself for free.
I reviewed 23 marketplaces, from Salesforce and Google to China's Coze, Baidu and Alibaba, plus the three biggest stores for agent skills. For skills, Anthropic's plugin directory is the safest place to start. Each review has prices in pounds, a star rating, a screenshot and what to watch for in the UK.

Dollar prices are converted at about £1 to $1.33. Each name links to my full review, and the star ratings for all 23 marketplaces are in the next table. If you only want one pick, start with the card that describes you.
Business buyer
Buy from the store for the software you already pay for. On Salesforce that is AgentExchange; on Google Cloud, Google's Agent Marketplace.
Developer
89,427 ready-made tools your agent can call, and Apify keeps 20% if you sell your own. For MCP servers, try Smithery.
Small firm, no big platform
Copy a proven AI agent workflow and adapt it. If you already pay for ChatGPT, its Plugin Directory is the quicker start.
Data must stay in the UK
Pick the London data region when you sign up, because you can't change it later. Salesforce customers can also run their account in the UK.

What is an AI agent marketplace?
An AI agent marketplace is a store where you find, buy or install ready-made AI agents instead of building your own. Some sell finished agents for one platform, such as Salesforce or Microsoft 365. Others sell the parts agents use, such as tools and data connectors. A few are free directories that simply list what's out there.
They fall into six types:
- Enterprise: stores run by the big software and cloud firms, selling agents that plug into their own products
- Consumer: stores inside chat apps, where anyone can use agents other people have built
- Builder: no-code platforms with a library of agents you can copy and adapt
- Developer: catalogues of tools, connectors and MCP servers that give agents new abilities
- Directory: free listings that point you to agents elsewhere, with no buying in the store
- Skills store: catalogues of agent skills and plugins, the instruction packs that teach coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex new jobs
What is an AI agent store?
An AI agent store is another name for an AI agent marketplace: a catalogue where you find ready-made agents and add them to the software you use. In October 2026 the phrase usually means Microsoft's Agent Store inside Copilot, the independent AI Agent Store directory at aiagentstore.ai, or any app-store style catalogue of agents.
- Microsoft's Agent Store opened inside Microsoft 365 Copilot on 22 May 2025. Copilot agents listed in Microsoft Marketplace also show up there, and an admin adds them for staff through the Microsoft 365 admin centre. See my Microsoft Agent Store review.
- AI Agent Store (aiagentstore.ai) is a directory run by MB Skydis in Vilnius, Lithuania, with 1,386 listings in 24 categories on 16 October 2026. It compares agents but doesn't sell or run them, and makers pay $49.99 (about £38) to be listed. On 23 October 2026 its homepage also offered a paid task marketplace, where you post a job for independent agents, and a way to earn with an agent you run. See my AI Agent Store review.
- Other agent stores: Coze calls its public agent store Work Community, Poe lists thousands of bots built by its users, and Tencent's Yuanqi agent store closes on 9 November 2026.
Not everything with a store-like name is a marketplace. Agentplace, for example, is a builder: you make your own customer-facing agent from its templates, on a free plan or Pro at $29 (about £22) a month.
Is there a marketplace for AI tools?
Yes. If you want tools for an AI agent rather than a finished agent, the main marketplaces in October 2026 are Anthropic's Claude Marketplace, with more than 2,000 connectors and plugins, Smithery, with 15,287 MCP servers, and Apify Store, with 89,427 scraping and automation tools. All three are free to browse, and many tools are free to add.
Most of these tools use MCP, the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets an AI app use other software. What is MCP? explains it in plain English. Alibaba's ModelScope MCP Square is another large free catalogue, and the ChatGPT and Cursor stores list plugins that connect agents to other apps.
Hugging Face, the best-known hub for open AI models, is not an agent store you buy from. Its Hub hosts free AI apps called Spaces, agent skills and MCP servers, and in June 2026 it released a Discover Tool that lets an agent search them for itself. Hugging Face describes the standard behind it, Agentic Resource Discovery, as "not a product or a marketplace".
If you searched for an AI marketplace for business software in general, the cloud stores cover that too. AWS Marketplace, Microsoft Marketplace and Google Cloud Marketplace sell AI apps and agents alongside other software, billed through your existing cloud account.
How I rated them
Every marketplace gets a star rating out of five, built from five scores. Each is judged from the public store, pricing pages, documentation and seller terms. I didn't create accounts or test agents, and I say so in every review.
| Area | What I looked at |
|---|---|
| Choice | How many agents or tools it lists, and how good they look |
| Pricing clarity | Whether you can see what you'll pay before you commit |
| Getting started | How easy it is for a UK small business to find and use an agent |
| Trust and safety | How listings are checked, what permissions agents get, how data is handled |
| UK fit | UK availability, pounds and VAT, and UK GDPR or data location information |
The overall rating is the average of the five, rounded to the nearest half star. No marketplace paid to be included or to change its score. If I add affiliate links later, I'll label them, and they won't change any rating.
The best AI agent marketplace for you
Start with the store for the software you already pay for. Its agents reach your data with the least setup.
| If you... | Use | Why | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| use Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Agent Store | Free agents inside Copilot and Teams, prices in pounds | ★★★★☆ 4/5 |
| want to build your own agents | n8n Templates | 13,490 templates, and n8n is free to run yourself | ★★★★☆ 4/5 |
| want skills for Claude Code or another coding agent | Claude plugin directory | Official plugins from known brands, and a person reviews new listings | ★★★★☆ 4/5 |
| use HubSpot | HubSpot Agent Marketplace | 12 agents built by HubSpot, priced in pounds | ★★★½☆ 3.5/5 |
| use Salesforce or Slack | Salesforce AgentExchange | Over 13,000 solutions, and your account can run in the UK | ★★★½☆ 3.5/5 |
| want agents to gather web data | Apify Store | 89,427 ready-made tools, free to start | ★★★½☆ 3.5/5 |
| want many AI models and bots in one app | Poe | Free, with paid plans from £4.99 a month | ★★★½☆ 3.5/5 |
| want tools (MCP servers) for your own AI | Smithery | 15,287 MCP servers, free | ★★★☆☆ 3/5 |
| just want to see what exists | AI Agents Directory | 3,284 agents, free, no account needed | ★★★☆☆ 3/5 |
What is Anthropic's Claude Marketplace?
Anthropic's Claude Marketplace is the newest big AI agent marketplace. Since 23 September 2026 it has brought together more than 2,000 connectors and plugins that link Claude to other apps, Claude-powered agents and products from partners such as Cursor and Snowflake, and consultants such as Accenture and Deloitte, in one store.
- Connectors and plugins are free to add. The most popular on 23 October 2026 were Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Canva and Microsoft 365. Plugins for Claude Code come from Anthropic's plugin directory, where a person reviews new third-party listings; see my Claude plugin directory review. Claude Code itself needs a paid plan, from £18 a month plus VAT for Pro.
- Agents and products are paid software. Eligible organisations with an Anthropic spend commitment can put part of it towards partner products such as Cursor, CrowdStrike, Checkmarx or Snowflake, by pressing "Request to buy" or asking their account team. Anthropic calls this a limited preview, and Checkmarx's announcement on 15 October 2026 described it as open to Anthropic customers in the US.
- Service partners are consultants from the Claude Partner Network, such as Accenture, Deloitte, Caylent and Slalom.
The buying side started first: Digital Commerce 360 reported on 16 March 2026 that Anthropic had launched it for enterprises. "Security teams should be able to get the tools they trust as easily as they get Claude," said Ash Alhashim, Head of Enterprise Cybersecurity GTM at Anthropic, when Checkmarx joined.
Connectors matter more now that Claude can work on its own. Claude Duet, Anthropic's proactive agent app, uses your Claude account's memory, skills and connectors, so tools you add from the marketplace carry over. It opened as a research preview on 21 October 2026 for Pro and Max subscribers in the US only, by waitlist. For a UK small business, the useful part of the Claude Marketplace today is the free connectors and plugins.
How does buying from an AI agent marketplace work?
Buying from an AI agent marketplace takes four steps: make sure you have the platform the agent runs on, read the listing, get an admin to approve and install it, then pay through the store's bill or the maker's own checkout. Many agents are free, but most run on a paid platform licence underneath.
- Check the platform. Agent Store agents need Microsoft 365 Copilot, AgentExchange agents need a Salesforce licence, and Google's partner agents need Gemini Enterprise Standard or Plus. ChatGPT plugins are the exception: they install on any ChatGPT plan, including the free one.
- Read the listing. Look for who made it, what data it reads, where it stores that data, the price model and a support contact. AgentExchange listings now show requirements, certifications and access details before you install.
- Get it approved. In Microsoft 365 an admin deploys agents through the admin centre. Salesforce has an install approval flow, and on Google Cloud a billing admin buys the agent and another admin registers it for staff.
- Pay. AWS adds the charge to your AWS bill, Microsoft bills its transactable offers itself, and Claude Marketplace purchases count towards an Anthropic commitment. Smaller stores send you to the maker's own checkout.
Marketplaces use seven ways of charging, and one agent can combine two of them:
| Price model | Where you see it | Example (October 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Free agent on a paid platform | Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow | Many Agent Store agents are free, but Copilot Business costs £16.10 a user a month plus VAT |
| Per seat | Salesforce, Google Cloud and AWS listings | Perplexity Enterprise Pro is $40 (about £30) a seat a month on AWS Marketplace |
| Credits or usage | HubSpot, Salesforce Agentforce | Extra HubSpot Credits cost $10 (about £7.52) per 1,000 |
| Pay per result | Apify Store | Many tools charge per 1,000 results |
| One-off purchase | n8n Templates | Paid templates cost $1 to $1,999 |
| Private offer | Google Cloud, AWS | A price agreed with the seller, common for Gemini-ready agents |
| Spend commitment | Claude Marketplace | Part of an existing Anthropic commitment, for eligible customers |
Start with a small group, watch how many credits the agent uses in its first month, and remove it if it doesn't earn its place. For typical running costs, see How much do AI agents cost in the UK?
Is it safe to install a third-party AI agent?
Installing a third-party AI agent from a big marketplace is usually safe if you check it first. Microsoft validates every Agent Store agent and Salesforce security-reviews every AgentExchange listing. The risk is what the agent can reach: a partner agent can read your data and send it to its maker, and skills stores check far less.
Run these six checks before you install anything:
- Who made it, and who checked it? Microsoft, Salesforce, Anthropic and Cursor check listings before they go live, and OpenAI sends plugins that connect to outside servers to human review. skills.sh relies on automated scans, and directories such as AI Agent Store only point you to agents, so the checks are yours.
- What can it reach? Read the permissions it asks for. Give a new agent one mailbox, folder or test account before you connect anything important.
- Where does your data go? A partner agent usually sends your data to its maker as well as the store. If it handles customer details, you need a data processing agreement with that company under UK GDPR.
- Does it ask before acting? Microsoft requires Agent Store agents to ask permission before consequential actions. Look for the same in any agent that can send email, pay or delete.
- What does it cost after the trial? A free agent can still use paid credits on your account.
- Can you remove it? Know where to switch it off, and remove agents nobody uses.
Agent skills and plugins for coding agents need extra care, because they run with access to your files and keys, and fake skills stole SSH keys and cloud passwords this year. Run the five-point check in Are agent skills safe to install? before you add one.
The UK's data regulator is watching too. On 8 October 2026 the ICO launched a call for evidence on the data protection risks of agentic AI, noting that agents often work "with limited human oversight". AI agents and UK GDPR explains what it expects of you.
How do you sell your own AI agent on a marketplace?
You can sell your own AI agent on most big marketplaces, and the cut they take ranges from nothing to 20%. Microsoft and Google Cloud keep 3% of a standard sale, Salesforce keeps 15% through AgentExchange Checkout and Apify keeps 20%. OpenAI takes nothing, but ChatGPT plugins may only sell physical goods (fees checked 23 October 2026).
What each marketplace keeps from a standard sale
Standard rates from each company's seller documentation, checked 23 October 2026. Private offers on AWS and Google Cloud cost 1.5% to 3%. Salesforce adds $0.30 (about 23p) per card payment, and Apify also deducts platform costs on pay-per-event tools. ChatGPT plugins may only sell physical goods.
| Marketplace | What you can sell | What it keeps | What it takes to get listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Marketplace | Copilot agents and AI apps | 3% store service fee; no listing fee | Pass Agent Store validation for response time, uptime, AI labels and asking before consequential actions |
| Salesforce AgentExchange | Agents, actions, MCP servers and apps | 15% through Checkout, plus $0.30 (about 23p) per card payment | A partner agreement and Salesforce's security review |
| Google Cloud Marketplace | Agents for Gemini Enterprise | 3% on standard offers; 1.5% to 3% on private offers | A Google Cloud Marketplace listing, plus validation to appear in Gemini Enterprise |
| AWS Marketplace | Agents, agent tools and services | 3% for SaaS, 20% for server products, 1.5% to 3% on private offers | An AWS Marketplace seller account |
| Apify Store | Tools called Actors | 20% of revenue, plus platform costs on pay-per-event tools | Publish an Actor and set a price |
| ChatGPT Plugin Directory | Plugins | Nothing, but only physical goods may be sold, through your own checkout | Verification and automated checks; plugins that connect to a server also need human review with test cases and a video |
| Claude Marketplace | Connectors, plugins and enterprise products | No fee published | Submit for review; products must be Claude-powered and built for enterprises |
| n8n Templates | Workflow templates | No cut found; you sell through your own checkout | Verified creator status |
| AI Agent Store and AI Agents Directory | A listing that links to your site | $49.99 (about £38) one-off; free with a badge, or $19 to $499 (about £14 to £375) | Pay, or link back to the directory |
Sell where your buyers already work. A tool for Salesforce admins belongs on AgentExchange, whatever the fee elsewhere. The big cloud stores bill the customer for you, which saves chasing invoices, while directories only send visitors to your own site. For building one in the first place, see How to build an AI agent.
Chinese AI agent marketplaces
China's big tech firms run their own agent stores. I reviewed three, and only two are easy to use from the UK.
| Marketplace | Owner | Can you use it from the UK? | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coze | ByteDance | Yes, through coze.com. Your contract is with a Singapore company, and data may be stored in Singapore and Malaysia. | ★★★☆☆ 3/5 |
| ModelScope MCP Square | Alibaba | Yes, through the English site modelscope.ai. It is aimed at developers. | ★★★☆☆ 3/5 |
| Baidu Agent Platform | Baidu | Hard. It is in Chinese only, needs a phone number to register and keeps data in China. | ★★½☆☆ 2.5/5 |
- Use the international sites. Coze and ModelScope also run Chinese versions, coze.cn and modelscope.cn. Both sign you up with a phone number and keep data collected in China inside China.
- Tencent Yuanqi is closing. Tencent's agent store stops on 9 November 2026. New agents can't be created after 29 October, and users can export their agents and chats until it closes (DoNews, 12 October 2026).
- Baidu has paused new agents. Baidu said people could not create new agents after 31 August 2026. Existing agents still work.
Running a Chinese AI model on your own computer is a different question. See Is it safe to run Chinese AI models on your Mac?
Agent skills stores
Agent skills are the newest kind of add-on. A skill is a folder of instructions, sometimes with scripts, that teaches a coding agent such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex a new job, from drawing diagrams to reviewing code. Skills became a shared format in late 2025, and three stores now lead.
| Store | Best for | Checks before listing | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claude plugin directory | Claude users who want add-ons from known brands | A person reviews new listings | ★★★★☆ 4/5 |
| skills.sh | The widest choice, for almost any agent | Automated security scans only | ★★★½☆ 3.5/5 |
| Cursor Marketplace | People who already work in Cursor | Every plugin and update reviewed by hand | ★★★☆☆ 3/5 |
The format now has a neutral home. On 22 October 2026 Anthropic donated Agent Skills to the Agentic AI Foundation, the open-source body that already looks after MCP. The foundation says skills make know-how "portable across agent products and platforms", which is why one skill from these stores can work in several agents.
A skill runs with everything your agent can reach, including your files and the keys on your computer. This year fake skills on skills.sh stole SSH keys and cloud passwords before they were taken down. Before you install one, read Are agent skills safe to install?, which ends with a five-point check. To see which skills are rising fastest, our weekly top 20 agent skills is updated every Thursday.
Using AI agent marketplaces in the UK
Every Western marketplace here works from the UK. The differences are currency, VAT and where your data ends up.
- Prices in pounds: Microsoft, Salesforce and HubSpot quote pounds, and so do the ChatGPT and Poe apps on the UK App Store. Most of the others charge in US dollars, so your bank's exchange fee applies.
- VAT: Microsoft and HubSpot quote prices without VAT, so add 20%. AWS collects UK VAT on software from eligible sellers through its Luxembourg company. Many smaller stores don't say, so check the invoice before you reclaim it.
- Data in the UK: Relevance AI lets you pick London at sign-up, but you can't change it later. Salesforce can run your account in the UK, and ServiceNow has UK data centres. Google keeps Gemini Enterprise data in London only by arrangement. HubSpot has no UK data centre. Microsoft has moved UK processing of Copilot prompts to the end of 2026.
- Partner agents: an agent built by another company usually sends your data to that company as well as the store. Read its data terms before you install it. If it handles customer details, you need a data processing agreement with that company.
For what UK GDPR asks of you when an agent handles personal data, see AI agents and UK GDPR: what the ICO expects.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a marketplace for AI agents?
Yes: the biggest AI agent marketplaces are Microsoft's Agent Store, Salesforce AgentExchange, Google Cloud's Agent Marketplace, AWS Marketplace, the ChatGPT Plugin Directory and Anthropic's Claude Marketplace. Each sells agents that work inside its own software, so the best one to start with is usually the store for the platform you already pay for.
What is an AI agent store?
An AI agent store is a catalogue where you find ready-made AI agents and add them to your work, much like an app store. Microsoft calls its catalogue inside Copilot the Agent Store. AI Agent Store at aiagentstore.ai is a separate directory from Lithuania that lists 1,386 agents but does not sell them.
How much does it cost to buy an AI agent from a marketplace?
Many AI agents in marketplaces are free, but they run on a paid platform, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot Business at £16.10 a user a month plus VAT. Paid agents are usually priced per seat, per use or in credits. HubSpot's agents use HubSpot Credits, and Apify tools often charge per 1,000 results.
Is it safe to install an AI agent from a marketplace?
Usually, if you check it first: the big stores review listings, but a partner agent can still read your data and send it to its maker. Check who made it, what it can reach and where your data goes, and try it with a small group first. Agent skills need extra care because they run with access to your files and keys.
What is the Claude Marketplace?
The Claude Marketplace is Anthropic's store for Claude add-ons, with more than 2,000 connectors and plugins as of 23 October 2026. Since 23 September 2026 it has also listed Claude-powered products from partners such as Cursor and Snowflake, which eligible companies can buy with part of their Anthropic spend commitment, and consultants such as Accenture and Deloitte.
Is Hugging Face an AI agent marketplace?
Not really: Hugging Face is a free hub for open AI models, apps, agent skills and MCP servers, not a store where you buy finished agents. Since June 2026 its Discover Tool has let agents search those resources for themselves. For ready-made business agents, start with the store for the software you already use.
What is the best AI agent marketplace?
For UK small businesses on Microsoft 365, it is Microsoft's Agent Store, rated 4/5. If you want to build your own agents, n8n's template library is the best place to start, also rated 4/5.
Are AI agent marketplaces free?
Most are free to browse, and many agents are free to install. You usually pay for the software underneath, such as a Copilot, Salesforce or HubSpot licence, or for the agent maker's own product.
Can I sell my own AI agent?
Yes, on most of them. Microsoft charges sellers a 3% store fee, and Salesforce takes 15% on sales through AgentExchange Checkout. Poe lets creators charge per message, and n8n lets verified creators sell templates through their own payment pages.
What happened to the GPT Store?
OpenAI added an app directory to ChatGPT in December 2025, and replaced it with the Plugin Directory on 9 July 2026. OpenAI plans to stop the creation of new custom GPTs on 26 October 2026, and GPTs from the old GPT Store retire on 11 December 2026.
Is Coze available in the UK?
Yes, through coze.com, the international version. Your contract is with a Singapore company, and data may be stored in Singapore and Malaysia. Coze.cn is the version for mainland China, and you sign up with a phone number or a Chinese app account.
Where can I find agent skills?
The biggest free source is skills.sh, run by Vercel, which lists skills for almost every coding agent. Anthropic's plugin directory is the safest choice for Claude users, and Cursor users get a hand-checked marketplace inside the editor. Check every skill before you install it, because it runs with your agent's access to your files and keys.
